Standing

Here's the standing picture I said I would put up. This was taken on May 24th. I think he likes it!

Yummy. Luke is getting better at holding things. Now he sucks on more than just his hands or blankets.

Such a Big Boy

No, Luke hasn't started solids yet. Mommy just wanted to see how well he could sit in his chair, and he looks pretty good! Sometime in the next month or month and a half we'll be starting on a new adventure.

I really like this picture. Luke looks great, and if you look really closely you can see the string of drool hanging from his mouth. Sweet.

In our efforts to keep Luke's clothing dry, we've started putting a bib on him when he seems extra drooly. It helps, but sometimes Luke just uses the bib as something to knaw on. I guess it's pretty convenient to have your chew toy attached around your neck.

Rolling?

Right around Luke's 4 month birthday he started "rolling" on his own. Rolling is in quotes because he never really made it over all the way (except for maybe once when I wasn't looking, but now I'm starting to think that I might not have put him down on his back...)

He did it a lot for a few days. Now I think he's lost interest. He's onto something new for him. Standing (with help of course). I don't have a picture of it yet, because it's hard to hold him and the camera at the same time. Coming soon.

He looks like a Lion at the Zoo yawning. Raaawh!

Luke with Brita. After many tries we finally got a smile! He was pretty mellow that day.

Here are a couple of cute ones from a month ago that I missed somehow. He looks like he's modeling with his left hand behind his head. He was a little over 3 months when these were taken. Now he's a little over 4 months.

Hanging out with daddy.

At this point you will rarely see Luke without his hands clasped together (unless they're in his mouth... but sometimes even then!). Now that he's found his hands, he just doesn't want to let go.

He has yet to really grab and hold things on his own, but with a little help he can push things into his mouth.
