Luke is on his way to sitting up. These were taken on June 16th. He can "tripod" for a while now, actually sit up for a few moments. Mom definitely still needs to hover... you never know which way he'll tip!

5 Months Old

Luke turned 5 months old on June 10th. This was taken that evening.Playing on the floor. Huh mom? What do you want?
So that's what the buckle is for!! We always thought there wasn't much point to using it, but this time Luke scooched just a little too far. :)

Sometimes Luke gets to hang out with his cousin. The first picture is from a day I babysat her and the next ones are from our birthday (Mom's and Aunt W's). They like to hang out and play with toys on the floor.

I'm starting to get behind in posting pictures! I'll have to post a bit more often to catch up.

Here are some pictures from Luke's first camping/beach trip. Two firsts rolled into one! Here's Luke chillin' in the tent.

At the beach! It was pretty bright (see mama squinting??); a bit too bright for Luke. We need to invest in some baby sunglasses. Luke didn't go in the water and stayed in the shade the whole time, but it wasn't bad for a first time. Baby steps, right?

This picture was taken on the day that Luke rolled from his back to his belly ALL THE WAY by himself (June 1st). He hasn't quite made it in the picture, but he's on his way. Now it's hard to keep him on his back!

Ladybug!

Chillin' in the "Johnny Jump-up." He doesn't really jump in it, but can stand and move around a bit.

At the end of May Luke and I went to see Daddy play in a volleyball tournament. Here are a few pictures of the two of them.

This was the day that I found the "pod" at a yardsale. We were on our way to the tournament, and as you can see it came in handy that very day!

Luke's Room

Here are a few pictures of Luke's room. It took a little while to get it together... It wasn't quite ready when he got here. I'd still like to do a few things, but I think it will always be a work in progress.
A close up of Luke playing on the floor.
